Paul was an undergraduate student who worked on the Shallow Lakes Project. His research involved sampling a number of shallow lakes that encompassed a range of macrophyte biomass and turbidities, to see the relationship between macrophyte biomass and the components of turbidity (chlorophyll a, inorganic and organic resuspended sediments), and relationships between turbidity and light extinction coefficients.
After finishing his undergraduate, Paul took a year to travel to Africa, India and Japan, and is now a M.Sc. student at the University of Victoria in the Water and Climate Impacts Research Centre, working with Dr. Fred Wrona.
